Breakfast

For families with busy schedules, it can be hard to make sure that kids are eating a healthy breakfast before they go to school in the morning.

Sometimes, children aren’t hungry right after waking up, and it’s hard to find food they like to eat that is healthy. Also, some kids refuse breakfast at home but are hungry when they arrive at school. Fortunately, we have a great breakfast program for all students, and it’s available at school every day.

At KEYS Grace Academy both breakfast and lunch are available to all students at no cost.

Wellness Committee

Committee Purpose:

Understand and assess the school health environment, programs, and policies to identify and strengthen the health of students and staff.

KEYS Grace Academy has a District Wellness Committee comprised of classroom teachers, a building principal, a member of the Board of Education, the Food Service Staff and parents

The committee’s goal is to encourage teachers, students and staff to lead healthy lives while providing tools and support to KEYS Grace Academy. The hope is for KEYS Grace Academy to be a healthy school environment in which the students are able to engage in educational experiences that will equip them with critical skills that promote the intellectual, social, emotional, and physical growth needed to be highly successful in life.

We are seeking to expand our committee. Our goal is to have representation from parents and health care professionals. If interested in joining this committee, contact the main office.
